DECrepeater 90FS Fiber Repeater is designed for intelligent and secure extended LAN connectivity and for use as a repeater manager for Digital's extensive stackable family.The DECrepeater 90FS offers 2 Ethernet 10BaseFL fiber ports that can be configured as a redundant pair. When configured as a redundant pair, these fiber ports can provide automatic failover and additional reliability. A 15-pin AUI connection provides uplink capability from the hub to an existing Ethernet backbone media segment. One out-of-band management (OBM) port and one ThinWire coaxial port provide a unique mix of media network connections. The "built-in" SNMP management features can provide management of its own port-level statistics and security, and enable or disable repeater ports for the Digital MultiStack System
